A Wilson County EDC representative told commissioners the organization has no signed NDAs and that private, invitational meetings with prospective companies are normal; the EDC pledged a fuller written report in December and said it has compiled property inventories and opportunity-zone submissions.

County counsel told the court the county-created Economic Development Committee has become dormant and recommended dissolution. The court dissolved the committee and directed staff to negotiate a written agreement with the private Wilson County Economic Development Corporation while suspending additional funding until deliverables and reporting are specified.
