Guess I lucked out I ended up with GPD winmax2 instead, aside from a few niche Qubes-specific bugs and "le moodern sleep" nonsense it is surprisingly decent machine. Perhaps a little too small.

I have their winmax2 unit with 64gb ram, a solid beast. Could use a couple more inches on the screen, a bigger battery, and a non-metal lightweight composite body (fuck this apple metal unibody horse shit) to be even lighter, but other than that, perfection

うむ、ONEXPLAYER X1かGPD WIn Max 2 2023を買うか迷うな。
性能的にはX1だけど、キックスタンドではなくてクラムシェルなWinMax2の方が普段使いにはいいと思うし… ただあのコントローラー配置がなぁ…

Framework is very good but I am here to shill GPD Winmax2 if you want something really small (it has eeepc form factor) with 64Gb RAM, under 1 kilo and a pretty decent CPU
It has drawbacks (well, the screen is eeepc sized, a 10 incher, and battery could be better) but it is a mean machine

GPD winmax2 6800 버전과 Rog Ally를 가지고 있는 상태에서 Onexfly 까지 고민하고 있는데..(물론 영입하면 Rog Ally와 멸망전) 언제 한번 umpc 관련해서 썰을 풀어야겠다.
