Just FYI regarding your UFO, the National Weather Service launches weather balloons in Spokane as does Windborne Services. Apparently in 2025 one of these from Windborne broke a cockpit windshield in a United Airlines flight over Moab, UT(!!) injuring a pilot

Someone gathered seeds by hand, stored them in fiber bags, placed them in a bedrock mortar & smashed them up, then transferred them to a hole where they soaked, germinated & malted.
The mash was heated & left to ferment with windborne yeast.

I am setting up and testing MPAS (open source from UCAR) to see if adding WindBorne balloon and model data can improve high resolution modeling in Diablo wind events in the Bay Area.

The side effects of hydro are, well, look at Lagarfljót. Look at Hálslón, the largest source of health-hazard windborne dust in the country. Building turbines at Hálslón would actually *reduce* this hazard. Who thinks we have too little wind here, show of hands? 🤷♀️
