I pulled down a windowblind and peered out at the broken glass from the bodega. The whole neighborhood was out, people still gesturing to my building and telling the cops that it was fucked up for someone to do something like that. That Habibi lived over there and was a good guy.

it's so funny how i hadn't thought about the song in literally 30yrs then the minute the lads came home from the hospital i was like, well, better teach them all about the capital ship for an ocean trip- the walloping windowblind, no gale that blew dismayed her crew nor troubled her captain's mind

Do you remember our room from last year? The 2 story in building 24 has a shower and jacuzzi tub visible from the walkway outside. And an opening between the Jacuzzi tub and the king bed in the master bedroom.
Needless to say that windowblind was always closed, but the other openings were useful.

(my personal favorite is the em-dash, though the semicolon is also rad. or you can be like Faulky-poo and shun grammar altogether and use words like kitchenchair and windowblind to describe your surroundings.)
