The latest entrant in the aero gravel race space is also a strong contender for most affordable. Winspace unveiled its G5 model on Friday and – on the spec and price sheet at least – it'll turn some heads. The G5 features a fairly standard tick list of features found on gravel race bikes these days: aero tube shaping, dropped seat stays and all internal cable routing. You can run 1x or 2x drivetrains and it's compatible with electronic and mechanical shifting. There's an internal storage space in the down tube with a magnetic cover and the claimed frame weight is 950 g for an unpainted medium. Tire clearance is 53 mm rear and 58 mm front and the size range is XS to XL. But the real headliner is the price: US$2,200 for the frameset, and builds starting at US$4,800. The top build, centered on SRAM Force AXS, costs roughly the same as the frameset for the Factor Elara FKT that also launched today. An optional swap to Rock Shox's Rudy Ultimate XPLR suspension fork is US$500 extra. [Winspace]

Winspace, Quick Pro, X-Lab and Amflow are names that were barely on the radar of many Western cyclists a couple of years ago. Now we see them in the WorldTour, on the front pages of major cycling publications, and increasingly on shop floors outside Asia.
