Yeah I followed the wiki at kindle-modding dot org and they wanted me to try using Winterbreak2. That didn't work so they said to try Winterbreak. That didn't work and things started to get really into the weeds and I just gave up.

ahh oof, well if you get a kindle check its version upon startup and see if u its within a jailbreakable range. when i got mine it was a few versions old and was able to use winterbreak
