Early wintering sparrows arrive.
We raked the leaves and pine needles 4 days ago and a picture from today. It never ends! All leaves get dumped into the forest so no worries about insects over wintering - ok. Mushroom season in my area so far sucks, little puffys today - that's it.

Double coral impatient and a little bud on a sunny afternoon on our patio. I love the color! I have this plant for 4 yrs & took many cuttings. Now I have 4 or 5 plants wintering in the house.

I feed the over wintering Anna's here in the PNW. On nights that freeze I bring the feeder indoors and take it back out first thing. Those little tiny buggers are fearless, flying right up to the feeder while I'm holding it. 🤩😍

Enjoy a video of #TundraSwans & some mallards. Mum's camera struggled to video them. The swans will be migrating soon to their wintering locations in the south now. I hope they survive their journey 🤞🦢 OH, & I didn't bork at them as mum followed the wapiti trail to the shoreline. I'm a good girl.
