Yes. The @nytimes.com and #Amazon are in bed together. I'm pretty tired of The Times constantly referring to Amazon on such pages as Wirecutter. Research finds products on Amazon inferior to the actual brand's product. The Grey Lady is involved in blatant cheating of consumers. Disgusted.

Yeah, a bit ago (before we know we'd be inheriting a PS5, of course) we actually bought a blu-ray player, and as per usual I checked Wirecutter reviews, and the degree to which the latest column was basically "well these are the manufacturers who are still making them, good luck" was disconcerting.
