The rate of misadoption is proportional to AI's potential for wishfulfillment.
All good technologies can be misused, but the rate of misadoption (is that a thing?) of AI is breathtaking. Go ahead and use it to educate yourself or inspire you to new ideas. Do not cut and paste from it into things you claim to have written! Just don't ever do that!

there are literally hundreds of forces trying to get people to not transition and not take hrt, a single trans girl with bad eggdar is not the problem in this hypothetical. and a book of wishfulfillment for certain trans women is most certainly not a problem in any sense of the word.

AI wishfulfillment combined with platform incentives, in which only the crystalized memetic fields become visible, are the latest iteration in a process that has been running for a long time now, and we can see it's effects everywhere in atemporal aesthetic flattenings.

It should be possible to categorize genres of reactive outrage by the psychologies of desire, triggered by generative AI functioning mainly as a wishfulfillment machine to channel reactionary impulse. When Trump shits on his populace from a bomber jet, this is some subgenre of resentment.
Online reaction economies are largely driven by outrage, cringe & paranoia. As #AISlop is optimized to generate engagement, its emerging genres can probably be best distinguished by the ways they prompt specific affects & trigger certain reactions (including pseudo-forensic readings) #Sloptimization

...and we haven't figured out a solution to the Genie problem. The paper seems to suggest that we can use LLMs to patch loopholes, hacks, and workarounds, but I'm more skeptical/pessimistic there :(
