Crazy that Qifrey kept his hold on the two of them through a rockslide. Strength of obsession #WitchHatAnimelier

Mildly foolish but also, again: insanely brave of Agott to go plunging into the cave after Euini even after she was instantly bested by Ghost Freeza before. Girl's stuck up but once she sees something as her duty she doesn't let that shit go for anything. #WitchHatAnimelier

He looks at magic as an empowering force, but only in the most solipsistic and destructive of ways - a way to unilaterally make his will manifest on anything and anyone that displeases him. #WitchHatAnimelier

People go brimmed cap for a lot of reasons, but Ghost Freeza keeps it simple - he just really likes Fullmetal Alchemist Body Melt Mad Science and gets really pissy when people suggest he not.
It takes a lot to truly set Richeh off, but. #WitchHatAnimelier

Some of you might be frustrated with where we ended the season, but look at it this way - you're probably not as upset about it as he is! #WitchHatAnimelier

Again: villainous characters in Witch Hat presenting themselves as teachers, chastising "their" children for being what they are and molding them into forms that better serve their own purpose through violence. #WitchHatAnimelier

Ghost Freeza here really embodying the jokes about shounen anime villains being adults picking fights with children in the cruelest ways. #WitchHatAnimelier

Poor kid's master is such a dogshit teacher that "compensate for things you aren't good at" is a revelatory concept to him. #WitchHatAnimelier

slightly underdiscussed how "violation of bodily autonomy" is one of the gravest misuses of magic in Witch Hat #WitchHatAnimelier

Riding a very fine line between "too creepy" and "just creepy enough" with Freeza pinning Agott here.
I like the continuing theme of villainous characters viewing children as little more than objects to be molded to their own desires. #WitchHatAnimelier

Freeza, unfortunately, is less gullible than the dragon.
Also really like how we depict the moment Agott realizes she's made a dire miscalculation. #WitchHatAnimelier

Like with the dragon, again Agott demonstrates tremendous courage in playing the rearguard trying to dissuade danger. Also quickly settles on a lie in the hopes of protecting both her own party AND Coco waiting outside. #WitchHatAnimelier

I wonder if the eye in Freeza's cap is a physical object or some kind of projection.... #WitchHatAnimelier

Hopefully we'll get an announcement next week when the TV broadcast finishes, it's a week behind the streaming for some damn reason. #WitchHatAnimelier
