day 6: alternate universe

An au where Orion is a deity that the farmhand Ardbert's family has prayed to for generations...and the last thing he expected was to meet the deity face to face!

#wolbertweek #wolbertweek2026 #Orion #hc:ardbert
Ardbert looks on surprised to a divine Orion, who looks at him with a facisnation and leans in. There is definitely a lack of personal space, though Ardbert doesn't seem to mind.

Their loud cry tells us
To grasp happiness!

ERUPTING BURNING FINGER (axe)!

SEKIHA LOVE LOVE TENYOKEN!"
Hex & Ardbert in the final face-off with Emet-Selch in the Dying Gasp. Hex is in a Monk battle stance but it looks like she and Ardbert are both holding his blue glowing axe and also in a dance. (In a reference to the end of G Gundam)

#Hexbert #WolbertWeek #WolbertWeek2026 Day 5: Closeness/Distance (Doing a 2 for 1!)

When you're so close, but still can't touch.
It is dark in The Pendants room. Hex is sleeping against Ardbert, lying close to him, her hand seemingly against his "chest," or would be, if he had a corporeal form, so rather, her hands are through his "body" against the bed instead. Ardbert is fully dressed (can a ghost change clothes?) and is lying on his back, eyes open, with a sad, contemplative look on his face as he looks at his hand.

(aka the bad Shadowbringers ending 😔)

"Hush, love, close your eyes. All will be over soon."

A gpose of Ardbert, a brown haired hyur man and my WoL A'myrrhis, a female presenting Viera - although here the latter is depicted as a sin-eater. She is pale with white hair, ears that resemble wings and a pair of actual wings and wearing loose white clothing. She is standing behind Ardbert, a brown haired hyur, and covering his eyes with her hands. Her expression is serene unlike Ardbert's, who looks distraught.

This gpose portrays Altani (Au Ra woman, center) and Ardbert (Hyur male, left). Altani is on her knees in front of the window of the Pendants suite, face unable to be seen. Ardbert is kneeled next to her, hand clasped onto her shoulder, expression solemn. Same pose as before, but this time at a different angle. Altani's face is still unable to be seen.

Center left are two people: Ardbert (a Hyuran man, left) and Layla (a Hyuran woman, right). They have their backs turned to the viewer. Far away from them and on the right end of the picture is Emet-Selch, their opponent. Emet-Selch has raised his arm, ready to fight. Layla and Ardbert are holding on to their weapons as well (an axe and a rapier, respectively). A bright, blue light has engulfed the duo.

#WolbertWeek2026 Day 2: [Shard | Fate]

Little a late entry, but this popped into my head so! Freyalin finally entering the acceptance stage of grief :') somewhat.

DT spoilers below.

#NotesOfFreya | #wolbert | #WolbertWeek
As the crowd gasps and reacts to the not-so-secret reveal of the Head of Reason, something inside Freyalin stirs. It comes at once, jutting and kicking; something crawling up her throat. She locks eyes with Gulool Ja Ja and the bone chill of understanding sets in. She smiles sadly, and he reciprocates. It goes on too long and she rips her gaze away first, easily then slinking away from everyone. There's faint calls for her from where she's not even sure but she ignores them the best she can for now. There's a quiet cliff and she sits there until early night comes. Stars and moon beginning their shift overhead. The sea breeze reminds her of Kholusia as it whips her face. She takes in a breath but her throat is closed as she tries to swallow it down. Gulool Ja Ja said three years the Head of Reason has been gone, and as Freyalin does her own maths, she lets out a shaky sigh. Ardbert hasn't been here since she awoke again on the Ragnarok — almost just as long ago. She's perhaps too tired to deny it now. Twisting her eyes shut she puts a hand to her stomach. Trying to truly take a moment to let it sink it she's surprised it doesn't hurt as much as she thought it would. Text continues in next photo. If anything, she feels lighter. Ease quickly makes way for guilt as it creeps up her slowly. "I'm sorry," she whispers out, surprised at the strain in her voice. It's then she notes the wet forming in her eyes. The wind picks up just then and she dares not read into it in a way that would almost do him a disservice after everything. So she tries her best to turn her brain off and just let the breeze embrace her. End text.

A broken glass reflecting 3 characters in each shards : a Au Ra Raen wearing a red mage attire, a Hyur man wearing a dark leather armor and an Ancient woman in a dark robe. The Au Ra and the Hyur are reflexion upon the glass while the Ancient is behind it.
