I will say I have twice been in a green room next to him, and he does seem to grab people and ask about their jobs and lives, he seems genuinely interested.
At a WonderCon, he was discussing favorite books and it was impressive, the range.

No joke, he found my account and liked a number of my posts on there - and I never even got to tell him how much his support on there meant because I didn’t expect to meet him at WonderCon this year… I did tell him I adored his Puss in Boots performance and he sprung the voice on me like magic.

Update: finally opened the box, and 14/17 books got a 9.8. I’m excited to share them over the coming months. Only two real disappointments of the three rejections. Overall, I’m happy with it, and already planning to submit a few more at WonderCon.
