Just wanted to share an update: WonderPunch! will be continuing in the coming year. 👊❤️‍🩹 ✨

I apologize for the hiatus- my life blew up in 2025.
Additionally, WP is made in Animate, so I feared I'd need to discontinue the comic totally.
Luckily, I have found a workaround.
Deacon Dill, an unassuming brunette man in a collared shirt, holds up a sign reading, "Wonderpunch will return in 2026." A thought bubble near his head reads, "Do I have to?"

This is Jackson. He's a "super" villain dedicated to making his coworker's shitty life slightly worse.
Jackson sitting in an armchair petting a cat. He is wearing formal super villain attire with a trilby hat and domino mask. A speech bubble reads, "Well if it isn't Wonderpunch. We meet again." Jackson in plain clothes behind a diner bar. He is staring annoyed at a woman in front of him. Jackson in his formal super villain attire leaving a room. He looks smugly back and a speech bubble reads, "Oh please." Jackson in his villain clothes tying a nervous Wonderpunch to train tracks. Behind them, a Light Rail train approaches.

Just wrapped up Issue #4 of WonderPunch! It's a dark comedy about a depressed superhero. If you're into that, give it a read!

✨ Webcomic artists- Post a panel that sums up your comic's protagonist! ✨

I'll start:
A medium shot of the superhero Wonderpunch. He looks intensely at a character offscreen who he is speaking to. He is holding a lit cigarette and saying, "That's why you should never smoke."

WonderPunch: Superhero who's powers are activated by PAIN.

🤔Original Idea: "This power would make someone really mentally ill!"

#DevilRay has made a bit more headway on the #fanart of #WonderPunch (a great webcomic by @atomicrobots.bsky.social !)
To scan & digicolor, or to trad-color with markers? That is the question.
(The answer is BOTH!)
