a giant woodspider (female) sitting on a web. the legs are mostly black with orange/red coloration near the joint. the abdomen is black with white lines/spots. the upper part of the body is somewhat green. a photograph of two spiders, the one on left is the female of the species, much larger than the male on the right. the spider on the right is out of focus, but it's reddish in color. a focused shot of the male giant woodspider - it's mainly red with black coloration. further in the back you can see a female spider out of focus.

I don't listen to a lot of folk punk but I saw these guys and another folk punk band Woodspider open for Thou and the Body at the Trumbullplex which was one of the coolest line ups ever imo. They shred acoustically and their lyrics are like an anarchist battlecry for the sake of the planet.

Screengrab of my phone homescreen. You can see multiple clocks on there. And few of the easy to access apps that I use often. The wallpaper has a photograph of a giant woodspider (female) that I recently shot in the jungle. It's the underside of the spider, black with spots of yellow. The spinneret is a red bump. It's sitting on a web, that is partially visible.
