Last night I celebrating the eighth night of Hanukkah with residents of the fantastic Woodmoor neighborhood. We sang songs as we lit the beautiful menorah and welcomed in the new year. Let’s continue shining bright in 2025.

To turn right, drivers must be in the marked crosswalk, looking left for high-speed cars (not right for sidewalk users). Plus most drivers will not stop at the stop line before pulling into the crosswalk.

Oh cool! I know that "Woodmoor" sign. That's a neat one, it partially directly fronts the sidewalk, as do some of the shops on the other side. It's such a neat transitional landscape, it isn't quite modern suburbia

To be fair one of the more notorious loudmouths (I've been in other meetings with him) lives in Woodmoor.

the Woodmoor Shopping Center, which is from the 1930s, has a little arcade running through the middle with some shops in it. there's also this thing on Rockville Pike (pictured) that's attached to an office building. I think about it a lot but I have never bothered to actually go inside

The corridor is majority minority, but the hearing was definitely not. I hope the planning board knows that certain people are more likely to testify in person, and that they recognize that many arguments just don't hold water. Lots of opinion given as fact. I live in Woodmoor and sure as hell...

The Modern Records Centre have a few online too at cdm21047.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/ . It seems a definite choice to think 'I've seen the commemorative napkins you've done for the Cenotaph and pit disasters, I'd like one for my wedding too. Don't forget to include the battleship'.
