I am grateful to @patmcfaddenmp.bsky.social, the #WorkandPensionsSecretary for his statement to the House on new survey evidence from 2007 on communications to women born in the 1950s about changes in their #StatePensionAge which has only just been made available to him.

If a successor was looking for a new #ChancelloroftheExchequer, #YvetteCooper would be a possibility, maybe #HilaryBenn would be quite a good replacement as #ForeignSecretary, maybe #JohnHealey as #NorthernIrelandSecretary, maybe #RachelReeves could move to #WorkandPensionsSecretary.
Predictions:
1. There won't be a full leadership contest
2. Keir Starmer will not be foreign secretary, or take any other cabinet job
3. Rachel Reeves won't stay in the Treasury
4. There will not be an early general election
5. Josh Simons will get a number 10 job
6. This will prove to be a mistake
