Haitians, gay men, and sex workers were historically blamed for the HIV/AIDS epidemic. This scapegoating is rooted in racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and whorephobia. If you happened to be a Haitian gay man engaging in sex work during the 1980s? Good luck.

I've been posting throughout Dec., but tbh I'm running out of things to say for #WorldHIV/AIDSAwarenessMonth outside of anti-HIV/AIDS stigma is intersectional + is deeply whorephobic.....now imagine how some sex workers feel having to repeat these same sentiments REPEATEDLY.
