in the myth in worlds apart blaze suggests that the lifeweaver and the worldpainter were at war, and maybe they were in an official capacity, but even by the time of that myth i think it had degenerated into them just being tsundere for each other and the tribes playing along

It's been such a long time since I've played #minecraft, but I'm adamant on building the entire continent of Valenor (Fractures by #rainimator) in one world. Couple of months worth of progress soloing it.

(Used Axiom, WorldPainter, WorldEdit, I may be crazy, but I'm not insane)

i'll tell u my process and maybe it'll work for u. i drew the initial map (in inkarnate), then imported that into worldpainter as an overlay so i could make the height map. this is a pretty quick way to sculpt a terrain, i find. then the height map's imported into world creator and refined.

Testing worldpainter and don't think I can reasonably stream it at this world size, so I'm thinking maybe making the base world file before stream, and for today's cobblestream we can just go over the semi-finalized modpack and work on some block palettes for the server to open up next week?

There we go! The final(ish) regional dex for the Scripta region, including what megas and regional forms would be available! There's a few placeholders in there for the starters, too

NEXT WEEK we work on the topography of the region to set that up in worldpainter and then FINALLY MINECRAFT, maybe..

Behind the scenes: This is my first completed project that I have made using WorldPainter, and I used Ineylan's mountain brush pack for terraforming cliffs!

My references for this build are my memories about Christmas-related media (such as films and advertisements) and IRL Christmas village sets.
