#Anchor just hanging around (it is big). Not going far. #Wormshead at the #Gower in #SouthWales
You can cross the #landbridge at certain times either side of low tide but be careful or you can get cut off. Times are posted at the top of the cliff.
An Anchor on the sea bed. The tidal range is a lot here so the sea bed remains uncovered long enough to get across to the worm, have a look around and get back.

#WormsHead #Gower in #SouthWales and as the tide goes out you have a window to scuttle across the land bridge and a look around and get back before the tide comes back in.

Looking back at the mainland from the hill on the Worms Head at the Gower. That land bridge disappears at high tide. There is a marker board that warns you the latest return time. It is mostly rocks and a bit of a scramble. Worms head with the land bridge now submerged as the tide comes in.

Most important sign here. The times the land bridge will be exposed so you can visit the worm. One on the left a few days ago, one on the right taken some years ago but from the worm.
