So the email from Nanowrimo today seems like fog and mirrors and did not at all address the concerns of why people are angry they have endorsed AI. Their major “overhauls” not one of them was removing AI from their processes or condemning its use. Wrimo is tarnished.

Keep going. The first few days of Nano Wrimo were a pain for me because I was struggling to focus and I hadn't written in months. I find pushing through means you'll eventually come up with something that will make you write and forget about the word count.

I've done 21k words for Nano WriMo so far.
I am breaking records this year. Not just for this challenge (This is my second attempt, last year. I didn't make it past 5k) but for my yearly record as well.
I did about 60k words in 2022, which took the entire year.
