John Birchin of Itch Green appears to have experienced a form of timeslip as he insists that he drove his bread van across a version of the Old Wey Bridge which was populated with multiple mediaeval houses and people in period costume. Other have made similar claims. #WyrdOTD 2/11/1962

Mike Eaton reported he punched a pale-skinned alien in a silver boilersuit who tried to: “Interfere with me in an unsettling manner.” After the skirmish, the alleged alien fled into the trees bordering Mercury Common. Others reported seeing an egg-shaped craft in the area. WyrdOTD 3/11/1968

David and Judith Baker claim to have walked through Meon Hill via a glass tunnel that: “Glowed the way uranium vases do.” Despite years of searching, the Bakers were never been able to find the tunnel again, nor any reference to it outside of: “Faery book things.” #WyrdOTD 29/10/1970

Ralph Carboni claimed that a goat with horns made of flame attacked his allotment at Stannisford. Carboni said the beast had a standing height of at least five-foot and ravaged his crop of leeks and Brussel sprouts whilst emitting a smell between smoke and almonds. #WyrdOTD 1/10/1951
