Well now... seems like the reason my X220's been crashing is some kind of bug in the Ubuntu/Mint 7.0 HWE Kernel...
I switched it back to 6.8-default and it's been as good as gold.

Yes, my coreboot-ed x220 is still a perfectly usable machine.

X220のWindows update中、どれだけ時間が掛かる事やら。
そろそろノートPCをもう少しマシなやつに替えないといけないとは思うのだが、以前の様に｢サブPC｣が無いと困るって状況が全然発生しないもんでww
メインPCに何かあっても取り敢えずスマホで大抵の事はこなせるから困らない、極論すればメインPCはアニメ録画&ようつべ視聴にしか使ってないから。
そろそろノートPCをもう少しマシなやつに替えないといけないとは思うのだが、以前の様に｢サブPC｣が無いと困るって状況が全然発生しないもんでww
メインPCに何かあっても取り敢えずスマホで大抵の事はこなせるから困らない、極論すればメインPCはアニメ録画&ようつべ視聴にしか使ってないから。

確か…X220とMac miniの2台体制だった様な気がするが特に重い作業はしてなかった筈、X220でRTTYの移動運用を何度かやったけど飽きてしまってそれっきり。
アニメ観なくなったらPC無くても大丈夫な気がするw

I use a fifteen year old netbook* exclusively for traveling, and Task Manager claims to have >250 days of uptime, because I shut it down and powered off the last time it was used.

i love my frankenpad, though i don't use it too much atm
(my x220's keyboard broke and at the time i couldn't afford to get a new keyboard but a friend had an x230 with a broken screen he gave me so i took the entire top half of my 220 and put it on the 230)
