Just installed a new Xfinity XB8 router to the 2.5G switch, plus new PCs with 2.5G Ethernet ports.

Looks like I'm back to having to restart this stupid xfinity thing at least once a week due to packet loss
I've accepted 1 every 5 minutes or so, but it eventually hits 1% and I absolutely can feel it when browsing. Just that lil hangup.
Can't know if it's xb8 firmware, wifi6, or their servers.

I think Comcast buried the lede when the company announced data plans with 5-year price guarantees. The most important feature: No data caps, at least if you use the Xfinity XB8 gateway. It's the second product released without caps this year. Could data caps be an endangered species? I hope so!

Comcast’s monthly data cap is set at 1.2 terabytes. Customers who blow past it will get a warning, then are charged $10 for every 50 GB over the limit.
