To be clear, I'm not porting Spout2 to Linux. Linux already has stuff much better than Spout2! I'm bridging Spout2-on-Wine(Proton) to Linux mechanisms.
But! Once cross-app PipeWire video sharing XDG portals are standardized I think there is definitely room for a Spout2-like library...
