My university is cutting positions because of what they say are budget challenges due to enrollment. Meanwhile, we are expanding AI contracts, building contracts, and consulting contracts. It’s pretty easy to connect the dots. XLabs had $0 in the FY26 budget but will make awards this year. 🤷🏻♀️
