Its that, if Labour go "Rejoin" and the Tories + Reform are saying No, what is the EU supposed to do? Allow UK to join and then see them leave again? Even waste time on negotiations? When we joined, it was a xparty consensus to do so. It can't be a one-party decision.

Almost a week on from the Banchory Beast and I’m still sore. A brilliant run and obstacle race with loads of NE folk running for charity. Our XParty team was depleted by illness but the Lab-Lib members got through it. We finished 45th out of 2500 @willierennie.bsky.social dragged me round.

Oc, and Rory is a great example of an interesting guy. As regards the average of MPs I submit the 100+ who signed the WASPI petition only a little while ago xparty, lots of Lab. One cannot get ministers out of that.
