A row of large rust-coloured cast-iron sculptures titled Los 6 Guardianes del, created by the sculptor Xavier Mascaró. The sculptures depict six seated, human-like guardians with rounded heads and bulky bodies covered with numerous square and rectangular openings, giving them the appearance of hollow, perforated metal figures. The nearest guardian dominates the foreground, while the other five continue along the pavement beneath a row of trees. Behind them are mid-rise apartment buildings, parked vehicles, shared bicycles, street furniture, and an overcast sky. The sculptures stand on pale concrete plinths beside a pedestrianised urban street in Barcelona.
