I go on Facebook just to check messages and it’s very funny to see console war arguments still happening in random conversations I’m unintentionally seeing. “Nintendrone” and “Xbots” are still being used in 2025 alongside the absolute weirdos using the more modern “Soyny”.

As someone who used to hang out on the old Edge website, the Sony Ponies, Xbots, and Nintendrones were worse than anything from any hardware war generation.

Es ist super ernüchternd, wie viele Männer bei Threads monatelang beglückt mit dem Teasercontent von S*xbots interagieren. Und es ist beängstigend, wie sie dann froh sind, wenn die rechte Propagandaphase dieser Bots beginnt, weil sie ihre Beziehung dadurch erweitert und vertieft sehen.

Twitter is a Nazi bar. Bluesky is several different bars, and the beauty of it is that you can pretty much pick the one you hang around in or create your own and kick people out if they're assholes.
