Ha ha ha. My brain went straight to the ML in SML/NJ.
I’m just so old ML is always Meta Language first. ML was the language the University of Sussex used to teach fundamentals of computer languages in 1986. Then some time later I worked for XenServer who had tooling written in OCaml.
