One of the more stupid actions. Xenophibia!
I started reading this fully expecting "this issue" with wings to be the long standing xenophibia, toxic patriarchal masculunity, and fascism problems, so I'm really glad that it went in direction of 100 gyoza instead.

They celebrate genocide, slavery, racism, xenophibia, war, terror, fake "Christianity," enforced material and spiritual poverty, the death of art and beauty, hatred of empathy (which they call weakness), boastful and fragile machismo, death of the common good, guns, pain, fear. That's their America.

I think the influence is negligible tbh. It makes for a nice story, it ties well into xenophibia and all that.
But honestly; US media, even supposedly liberal ones, don't mind fascism as long as it makes rich people richer. The democratic party has long turned to big money instead of the people
