wait hold on a second, they put Xeshtula in poe1 because it's the 5 breachlords merged into one but in poe2 they're called xesht but there's also the monk ascendancy talking about chayula... so xesht is just the xoph, esh and tul? and uul netol and chayula aren't a part of it?

Not that I think any moots play POE2 but that's the best I think I can do without expensive upgrades for Uber Xesht and I'm proud of it because 1. Blood Mage was nerfed heavy and 2. It's 100% my own build, which feels nice.

Most of my L20 gem drops have come from T4 Xesht. They're pretty rare but after you do the boss a couple hundred times you get a good few.

my cotb deadeye is level 93 and clearing most encounters quickly but I haven't been able to access many (bugs) or complete any anomalous map, no citadels, and xesht difficulty II wrecked me. I'll level a WI stormweaver while waiting for the next patch and maybe set up an item filter. (poe2)

i bought a few things on path of exile 2 trade this week just to try it out. i got a decent damage output going (8.7k on spark) and got to tier 12 maps and level 82. i still haven't seen the endgame boss yet (xesht), so not focused on that. i should be able to reach tier 15 with my current build.

Did a quick little test killing Xesht 30 times, 15 with 0% rarity, 15 with 215% rarity.
The end result? More Divines dropped with Rarity, breach rings seem unaffected, and I couldn't see any difference in the boss drops. Could just be sampling bias though.
Has anyone tested this extensively?

Xesht is way better. That's a god tier boas fight. It's clean and you understand why you lose that one. I get it's EA but still.

I got the boon of +5% to all elemental res. I think it's worth it a lot in this case, especially when I was just using the +3% movement speed. Still 50% cold res though, and 62% fire res is not great for Xesht.

Ah, and I forgot to mention I would go from 2.8k ES to just 650. When I first got the ES into my build, I went from playing with caution to play like I was invincible, even on something like Xesht 3. I don't want to lose that.

I'm still level 93 (74%). I should try to get to level 95 to get all the passive node points I need before I start farming Xesht more.

From that ring I got 38%. Then I searched my stash for a another rarity ring I could use, and I found one, making the total 84%.
Now I just realized I could just use my Ingenuity belt to bring that up to 102%, but now my res are really bad. My best one is fire at 52%, and at least Xesht uses fire.

I'm finally getting into the "multiple divs on my stash tab" territory on PoE2 thanks to selling that second Headhunter. I also started doing Xesht t3. The first time I still did it with 0% rarity, but then I got a good rarity Breach ring and started digging on this brand new world.
