To the extent we’re talking Xs and Os, I don’t think coaching is the problem. But coaching is the problem to the extent that we have a team in Schmetzer’s image, and maybe those guys just aren’t good enough (despite the grit) to replicate the success he got out less deep but higher quality squads

For those questioning the coaching staff, rebounding is 100% something players control.

The #Nuggets losing the possession game was huge tonight. Portland took 15 more shots (92-77) & that was mostly due to 21 offensive rebounds. Portland outrebounded Denver 53-37 in the game. And it matters b/c otherwise, the FG percentages were largely the same for both teams.

I have the most faith in Fritz, but I think it would be reasonable to have Dillingham as the top choice given his age.

It also stands for Tactical Air Command and it reminds me of Tic Tac Toe. Which uses Xs & Os (hugs and kisses or X marks the spot comes to mind). Both involve strategy.
