Yeah. There was #yalitchat and #mglitchat and #pbchat and a couple illustrator chats (all of which sprung from #kidlitchat in some sense and many of which launched great communities of their own!)

I cancelled once he took over. It was sad because I met so many pubs, editors, librarians, agents, and others in the children/YA lit community over there. I even hosted YA authors when I was a part of YALITCHAT. #kidlitchat

When I helped with YALITCHAT over on then X, we had great conversations. Some editors/publishers and a few agents would pop over. Miss those! #kidlitchat

I honestlyl can't remember the first time I visited #kidlitchat because it has been so many years. For years #kidlitchat and #yalitchat were weekly rituals for me, and I loved the discussions we'd have every week. But 4 years ago I dropped Twitter and have deeply missed the connections I made.

I was there for some of the pretty ugly #YAlitchat stuff that went down, but I think that one imploded well before Twitter did. That was for other reasons, though. I think I started drifting away from Twitter as the YA social media world started getting more toxic. #kidlitchat

#YAlitchat is trending? Liking how Twitter is choosing to fill the void tonight.

Some people have DMs sent to their phone, since they assume they'll be important/urgent. Thus a thank you may be quite intrusive #yalitchat

Lots of tools to import anything with an RSS feed (twitter, blogs, etc.) to a facebook page. I like RSS Graffiti personally #YALitchat
