Every time you ask the same question, you should get the same answer. But YMMD because you may not be running on exactly the same computer with exactly the same hardware and networking, etc. To run fast, the vendors apply a lot of tricks and approximations.

And yes, I too grew up without all that Laugengebäck stuff (in northern Germany), moved to Rhine-Main area for my studies - and I agree that it can be eaten.
But not everytime, not every day.
These days (in Berlin), I consider it a special exception. 🤓

I liked Player of Games but personally feel pretty diminishing returns from the Culture ouevre, like the world is interesting but then increasing amounts of set piece human scale space opera "in" that world doesn't add that much imaginatively or literarily, for me personally. ymmd
