Yes indeed! Sometimes when I teach in Corvallis (as I'll be doing this winter), partner comes up with me and we pop over to Yachats after. It's so easy! And Waldport is right there too.

Prosecutor, defense attorney lay out different motives in second murder trial in 2024 Five Rivers killing
Everett Fuller fired the gun shots that killed Christopher Lee "Bubba" Clark Jr. at a remote farm east of Yachats in December 2024. But jurors in Fuller’s murder trial heard vastly different descriptions of what led to the shooting as lawyers delivered their opening statements in Lane County circuit court. The trial resumes Tuesday and is expected to wrap up by Friday.
