Again trying something new. I found and purchased a bottle of Yellow Spot 12-Yr Irish Whiskey today. I’ve heard good things, but had never tried it.

I can recommend it!

Both lovely whiskies. The YS is like a honeyed biscuit but the Bunna has more of a deep red fruit flavour that I enjoy.

Winner: Bunnahabhain

(1/2) Both of these are really well rounded whiskies. The Grande’s sherry influence is more obvious with notes figs and fruit salad. Yellow Spot has honey, chocolate, banana and a dusky note I love in my whiskey.

Winner: Draw

On this episode of Yellowspot, Markwayne tried to decide if it’s pee or lemonade.

A beautiful Saturday evening sip. Guinness and Yellow Spot are a match made in the proverbial heaven.

#YellowSpot 12 year single pot still #IrishWhiskey.

👃🏼Cut grass, fresh hay, honey and dark red cherries.

👅Cracked peppercorn, pot still spices, creamy, milk chocolate, clove oil.

🏁creamy sweetness which fades to a dry wine-like texture, grapes.
