“Alas, poor Yongarry! I knew him well, Anguirus.”

The Made Funny by #Mst3K crew! #Yongarry #Titaniccreations

Son of Yongarry is stuck outside. #Svengoolie

HONORABLE MENTION: Titanic Creations Yongarry; This guy almost made the list on accessories alone. The figure is definitely good but not truly great. But the amount of stuff you get in the box makes him the absolute best value in the list. BUY HIM.

Yongarry Young Ross #Svengoolie #SonOfDracula

Today’s figure of the Day is the Titanic Creations Yongarry!

Yongarry is simultaneously my favorite and least favorite of TC’s offerings. As a design, Yongarry is about a generic a kaiju as you can get. The figure itself is fine, in a little limited.

Trying to recall if I watched that one. Will check it out.

Also annoying that there’s not a pristine print of the original Yongarry.

Everything is awful.

But... Vinegar Syndrome is putting out another luscious kaiju 4K Blu-Ray... this time YONGARRY (following great editions of GORGO and REPTILICUS), the underrated and misunderstood 1967 film from South Korea. It's going to be AMAZING!

Many films beat that. Charlie Wilson's War has 6. Yongarry 2001 has 7, Battleship has 8, Dragon Wars has 9, but the winner is Alien Rubicon with 13.

But while Yongarry had better (and a lot more) accessories, Pulgazari is no slouch. He comes with some awesome buildings that have pull away battle damage that looks fantastic, multiple hands, some trains and a little baby Pulgazari who is now baby Gorgos best friend.

This is Titanic Creations third figure and by far the best - which considering I was least excited about him is saying something. Quality is nice and the figures joints are tight, much like the old Neca Godzilla figures - he’s doesn’t have the QC issues that kept Yongarry from being truly great.

Braks big forehead is no match for his exposed brain! This guy is joining Gorgo, Yongarry and Jet Jaguar in the Made Funny By MST3K selection. Im now wondering if I can get a figure of Tor Johnson…

NORMAL VIEEEEEEEWWW

I'm sorry, any good will that movie earned with generous use of explosions was killed by the dialogue. THE DIALOGUE. 😂 IT WAS SO SO BAD.

And Yongarry fucks off into the sea to go live on Temu Monster Island. And I have *only now* realized that the Dinobot Island in the original Transformers was […]

Yongarry was bad, but it was part of a #monsterdon, bad movie watchalong on Mastodon so it was actually fun.

The Punisher is 50 minutes of schlock trying to be deep while showing maximum blood splatter.
