Final record of the night with @tallrockerchick.bsky.social, a return to the 90s where we began with the #tankgirl OTS. Hum’s “You’d Prefer an Astronaut” is one of my favorite shoegaze/early emo albums ever.

Seriously, this is one of my favorite 90s albums and contains one of my absolute favorite songs of all time.

Another CD this morning. Hum have been in my feeds lately reminding me to listen to it again. It’s been a while. You’d Prefer An Astronaut was on heavy rotation back in the Graceland days.

The closest thing is the theater, and while I love the theater it's just not the same. It's so powerful, so beautiful, so intimate, so amazing. And it's happening around us all the time, especially if you live in a city. I love it. Anyway here's Hum live on Conan. Can you believe this followed Leno?

Another “On The Board: On The Speakers” with the latest page of Accidental Renegades and an underrated gem from Hum. #zedcomicsoriginal #indiecomics #accidentalrenegades #humband #youdpreferanastronaut

Classic riff from Stars by HUM.

Hum was an amazing band. This record played all the time at my house when I was 15. This whole record is great start to finish. This song in particular.
