If you use your own domain for your handle, here's how to customize it further!
For example, mine was @limitbreaknetwork.com, but I wanted my actual name in there.
In the TXT file in your DNS records, add .YOURTEXT after the _atproto host name.
So _atproto.tom made it @tom.limitbreaknetwork.com

It makes me more than a little bonkers that excel uses different function names for the same thing if you're writing an in-cell function or if you're writing something in VBA. In a cell it's "LOWER(yourtext)", on the back end it's "LCASE(yourtext)". Why can't they just pick one and stick with it?!?

Your problem might be, that the string functions (%SUBSTR, %SCAN) etc, deal per Default with the number of byte and NOT with the number of characters). In UTF-8 a single character can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 Byte. Technically speaking, there should be tools for every shades of this spectrum :D
Like everyone uses a crawler for the basics etc... But here in France, people who write content and want it to rank on Google usually optimize their content with a tool, (to be transparent I work at Yourtext Guru).
