I guess that now they have more short and medium-range day trains because back then yraffic was dominated by very long-range sleeper trains with many classes (sleeper, 3AC, 2AC, first etc) in train with a lot of cars.

@notjustbikes BTW, the "yraffic signal priorioty" that Toronto added to the Fimch trams is nothing more than shifting left turn signal to end of cycle instead of start of cycle, so after waiting at red light, the trams can proceed without waiting for left turn cycle to end.
