This book is terrible. I kept reading hoping for some redeeming factors. There are none.
Badly edited, in both pacing and grammar, badly written overall, messy story, could have been a decent YA book premise if it was stripped back and started again. Don’t read.

I've read three really enjoyable books in a row with absolutely awful protagonists: I'll Watch Your Baby, Yesteryear, and now Honey. I know writers who use likable main characters and they're all cowards.
HONEY by Imani Thompson sounds like it could be a standard-issue "good for her" story of a woman killing terrible men, but what it's really doing is thornier and more interesting. Come for the catharsis, stay for the ultimate futility of violence!

Skyrim, but had the misfortune of being in Helgen when the dragon attacked. After it was all over, he found a child's body too charred to identify, but holding the doll Yrsa had always kept with her. In reality, she was saved by a Stormcloak soldier and eventually taken to the Riften orphanage.
