End of round two: still no blood drawn, Sol, titans, yssaril all steadily consolidating power
Also from that Weekend, I had another go at, what quickly become my favorite boardgame - Twilight Imperium 4th Ed.
Although not scoring too high in the end, playing Yssaril was an interesting, even if a bit uneven experience. Still had fun tho ^^

I played for the first time Twilight Imperium #TI4 and after 8 hours of playing, betraying, and sneaking, I finally won! Great game!

Played in my first game of Twilight Imperium. I commanded the Universities of Jol'Nar (purple) and got a great start, which I had to use to prevent other wins (mostly by Sol-blue).
In the end I couldn't score enough objectives and failed to stop Yssaril by taking their Home Sys.

Game end! 10 hours of play later, I managed to slide through with my final 2 points on the tier 2 objective. Mecatol sufficiently distracted the other players from taking my home system. But now all my immediate friends have experienced TI4 with me!

The Yssaril Tribes just played a heck of an Agenda response card. Vote yes, and he gets Speaker (meaning he'll grab Imperial and stay on Mecatol Rex for another round w/ 4 mechs), or everyone loses their mechs.
All our mechs (14 in total) got downgraded to a single infantry.

Sol and yssaril, on scoring initiative two and three. With scoring initiative two, Sol cruise to an easy victory with a three point swing, simply owning everything they need in their slice of the galaxy to secure dominion. A solid win from the middle of the pack!
