Likewise, I shouldn't have had to spend my own money on making 12x #CorsiRosenthalBox air cleaners, which were donated to #YukonSchools & immunocompromised #Yukoners - because the @yukon.ca was doing exactly diddly-squat to protect Yukoners from #COVID -

I presented our work at the national public health conference and the number 1 thing people said to me was “you shouldn’t have to be spending your own money on respirators and tests for the public!” Yeah, we shouldn’t. #nbpoli

Harvest is over. School is in. Illnesses spreading like crazy.

We do not have any rapid tests, and we’ve decided we’re not going to be fundraising for more.

It’s not fair to you to be funding things like this. (1)

If the @yukon.ca had a lick of sense, we'd have these air cleaners in classrooms throughout #YukonSchools. They're the same brand used by #YEUPSAC, incidentally (local union) -

Still no mention of #LongCOVID despite the fact that teaching is recognised as one of the frontline occupations hardest hit; & still no effective mitigations in #YukonSchools to prevent #Airborne transmission of respiratory illnesses, including #COVID -
