Alright so I tried to make something to replace my PFP, but I felt it didn't look well at all shrunk down (the hair's too busy), but it still looks
...decent enough I guess. Have a bat (he knows what he did, he will do it again)

A more cryptid-esque version of my 'sona since I occasionally need one. Sometimes you just want to haunt a forest and imperil people who shouldn't have been there.

"Wet breeze against your skin. A so-called river, roaring beneath your feet. The knowledge no one will ever find you if you fall here. The Hollow-Lands stretch before you."

An experiment in both just scenery, and using charcoal brushes and the watery ones to see what came out.
A cavern system of green and blue, flooded with a whitewater river and cracked open with waterfalls new and old. Stalactites dot the curved ceiling, some joining with their stalagmites at the bottom to form enormous pillars. In the back, what might have been a road meandering through the edge of the cavern wall is cut through by a waterfall. In the foreground, a precarious rope bridge stretches from solid rock into the distance, towards an unseen anchor to the right.

A yet to be determined, yet to be named creature in a stolen diving suit.
#digitalart #yutdrawings #art #drawing
An old, metallic diving suit containing a cyclopic, indistinct creature with only a single (unamused) eye occupying the entire visor, and no other visible features, all of it seemingly underwater.

The second piece I considered actually finished, based on one of my Caves of Qud builds and gone from there.

Massively overextended in one of those "draw your 'sona with what you're wearing" since I hadn't really drawn him ever before or designed him much, but still finished it anyways so now I have one officially.

Aight, to follow up, this was the first thing of mine I actually consider finished. I call 'er Ribbon. Dressmaker who gaslit herself into thinking the whole affair never happened and her customers are just rowdy and need a lesson in manners, everything is just FINE

"You don't understand, sir, I WAS hunting down their power sources, these 'generators' you said! It worked until I closed in on the last one - soon as I raised my hammer it got up, cut its wires, and started hunting ME!"

#yutdrawings #digitalart #golem #fantasy #art #drawing #krita #subterraneum
A bizarre, animated contraption, a golem or robot, is charging down a slope towards the right and towards the viewer. It resembles an actuator or generator that sprouted legs and charged, with wires emerging from its innards acting as its face with sparking wires for a "mouth" and luminous lightbulbs as "eyes", all on the hunt.

"The smell of smoke. The cold gripping your heart banished and replaced by Radiant heat. A lucky encounter with a being you thought was mere legend."
"Auld Stovepipe, the knight in cast iron, brought to the Snowdrifts for reasons unknown."
#yutdrawings #digitalart #golem #fantasy #art #drawing
A large, sauropod-like construct made out of a blackened, half-rusted cast iron stove, with an inner glow through the joints of his legs and chimney-neck and radiating out of his mouth and eyeslits. Smoke billows from his nail-toothed maw, and he drags a tail of tangled chains behind him, as the snow melts by his mere presence.

Last one I have finished, at least for the moment. Yakoatl (once Tlalocoatl but I moved on from that name), God of Rivers and Purity from a setting I share with @dawhackbot.bsky.social and others. The feathers in particular took me a WHILE.

Two relatively (and that word's doing heavy lifting) quick ones, of a character I'm playing in a @nolya.bsky.social campaign. Yes, character singular, it's complicated.
#yutdrawings #synth #krita #art #digitalart #drawing #robot
An green axolotl-like synth, complete with frills radiating with tiny antennae, wearing a leathery jacket and a reddish shirt. They're entering a dark metallic stricture leaving a walkway behind complete with railing and a sunset. To their right, there is a nonfunctioning screen on the wall. An angular, shark-like synth wearing a white jacket walking by, side-eyeing the viewer with a glowing angular eye on their screen, and with a glowing fin on the back of their head. Behind them, a railing, and further beyond that, endless grass plains under a clouded sky.

"The Great Dust Gyre is known for vicious sandstorms than can strip a statue of its visage in a matter of moments... It is said that, sometimes, they scour the ceiling so deeply that ancient things break right through it."

#yutdrawings #digitalart #ruins #fantasy #art #drawing #krita #subterraneum
An underground cavern of yellowed stone and yellowed sands that stretch as far as the eye can see, with hints of a dust storm in the very back of the tunnel. At the forefront, two sandy craters hold strange, bluish stone(?) formations of unknown purpose and origin, only half-shattered from their fall. I do not know what these are.

Also a lot of practice with shading and lighting, but hopefully I won't take this long to draw anything in the future.

"Ashes. Soot. Dusty roads, joined by a bridge that hasn't seen water in some time. The gargantuan links that hold the Chained City, coming into view. A hill of near-perfect hexes right beheath your soles. Ashenridge is almost behind you."

#art #drawing #digitalart #yutdrawings
Scenery without a sky, portraying two roads circling around standing hexagonal masses of basalt in what looks like a small gorge of reddish-grey ash. Both roads are joined by a bridge crossing said gorge. In the distance, stone rises from the ashes, and further past that, against a much farther wall, a few links of a titanic chain holding something off frame can be seen.

"You stand at the edge of the Red Plateau, and of Ferigozi lands as a whole, where a river meets a molten sea. Few ever get used to the cloying heat and humidity of these misty lands, but even here, there is work to be done."

#yutdrawings #digitalart #fantasy #art #drawing #krita #subterraneum
At the edge of a rainy cliff, a river runs off to meet what looks like a sea of basalt and molten rock, immediately turning into a great plume of steam that fills the cavern it's all in. Towards the side of the river, a couple waterwheels and windmills toil under the currents.

#yutdrawings #digitalart #golem #fantasy #art #drawing #krita #subterraneum
A very large, highly polygonal automaton of dull grey metal standing at the end of a tunnel, from which the POV is looking out. It has been shot and slashed, but it's still in pursuit and holding a boulder menacingly, even as it holds its own severed arm, one of many.

"Mud and spores under your boots. Mushrooms tall as towers all around you, alight from within. Fungi as far as the eye can see, even growing on the cavern walls."
"Mycon's Valley. Tighten your scarf, the road ahead is long."
#yutdrawings #krita #art #digitalart #drawing #fantasy #mushroom
An enormous forest of mushrooms and other assorted fungi far bigger than any man, some even hanging from the cavern ceiling far above. In the midst of it all, there is a waystone in the process of getting overgrown, and a small road carved across the mud, somehow unswamped. Same as the previous, but now with a thick layer of spore-fog, as if you walked in on exactly the wrong season. Hope you don't have asthma.

I was challenged by @nolya.bsky.social to draw one of my crew now that she'd drawn most of 'em up... and I apparently decided to draw one of the two she hadn't done.
This is Liyon "Pins" Pinweave, Bannerbound hitman from Clan Sofize.

#subterraneum #yutdrawings #digitalart #art #krita #fantasy
A humanoid being standing casually with one hand behind his back, clad in enough heavy rainwear that only his eyes can be properly seen, the rest of his face either behind a scarf or hidden by shadows. Casually showing off one gloved hand, with what looks like a writhing, spiked tongue emerging from somewhere under his sleeve. Liyon "Pins" Pinweave, Bannerbound of Clan Sofize.

"It was but a little peek, just a mile or two in to know if what they told you was true... "
"But it was worse. No one ever goes to Sundered Valley, they say, and right in front of you lie a thousand reasons why."
#yutdrawings #digitalart #cavern #fantasy #art #drawing #krita #subterraneum #magma
A towering, underground ravine seemingly running with a molten river of magma heading into parts unknown, seemingly falling deeper in - both close by and in the distance, magma seems to be dripping from above, leaving basalt stains, and in one case a giant stalagmite of basalt that still grows before your eyes. And everywhere, clouds of volcanic ash to drive in the idea this is not a good place.

"They call these the Tinrotted Plains, and yet you know at a glance the vile spikes sprouting from the sandstone are not even REMOTELY tin. You've barely arrived, and yet the Custody already looking for you."
"You should not be here, and yet, here you are."

#art #drawing #yutdrawings #digitalart
POV from someone hiding behind a large, natural brown monolith. Vast plains stretch, crossed horizontally by a river, and sown by a spiked, vile-looking violet mineral from the far end of the plains to where you stand; it even crosses the river, sprouting from its bed. In the distance, vast rounded structures hide in the fog of the distance, next to enormous, spiked crowns of the same violet material, seemingly the source. A violet airship floats above the structures... A similar airship to the one far closer by, spotlights blazing, clad in violet armor of similar hue as the spikes, and fully armed.

An experiment in trying different brushes than my usual.

#yutdrawings #digitalart #ruins #fantasy #art #drawing #krita #subterraneum
An alien world, with a sky streaked by dark blues and darker purples and a single, unblinking eye-like light in the middle of a black emptiness. Below, mountains and a dusty coast lie under this false sun, littered with ruins - and the once-seas right next to them still bear their ruined docks, deeper and deeper into the sand as the water faded away.

"You don't know either, nor do you know who Talar even was, but you may yet find out."
#yutdrawings #digitalart #fantasy #art #drawing #glacier
A great icy expanse, with a single tiny road of polished ice right through the middle of it, and stony towers with pointed copper roofs lining its side from beginning to end, looking smaller as they go thanks to the distance. In the distance stands a truly enormous glacier that dwarfs the towers in question, with a single curved crack right through the middle; the road leads right to this crack, implying there's more beyond this place. Above, a cavern roof of blue stone with lines of icicles where water leaks. At the side, an icy spire and a rope hanging from a stake nailed into said spire, implying the POV has climbed up to this place.

"I was told Irons weren't giant like some of the others, but I still thought they'd be damn huge. Not something just small enough to hide in the crags... Then it opened up, and it was like a whole wall of cannons by itself."
#yutdrawings #digitalart #golem #fantasy #art #drawing
A three-legged metallic construct, vaguely humanoid, standing with one leg on a large, pointed boulder and pointing one arm at something off-frame. Its legs are three-jointed bars of pointed metal coming from a large wheel, its chest is like a breastplate with a symbol like a kiteshield (with a circle held in a three-pointed claw) painted on its front, and its arms are three-jointed as well, each segment a seemingly hollow tube held by pointed claws. One is folded up and smoking, the other is set up like a cannon and directly pointed. Its head is like an elongated camera with three red lights surrounding a fourth, larger one. An iron golem of some kind, standing among green stones and sniping at the presumed narrator.
