Zef isn't likeable, until you get to know her - and she doesn't make that easy. She's quiet and reserved to the point of seeming aloof - she's taken the stoic, silent, sometimes severe mask of the WoL and made it her own, a useful defence against having to interact with others. 🧵⬇️ #zeflore

Alastor wrote home from time to time, talking of Zef, how she grew, his hopes and fears for her - but never received any response. He even visited alone a handful of times over the years when circumstances would allow, leaving Jirelle & the young Zef ensconced in an inn & making the journey himself
