I love it when my favorite urgent care doc says, basically, "it's not really bad yet but you know your body, what would you think is best?" Steroid and antibiotic shot in the bum and zpack it is, +nebulizer fluid in case.
I would be so dead without modern medicine. So many bronchial infections.😭

I have been struggling immensely with gastritis/reflux after being sick from DragonCon and then having to take a zpack to nuke an opportunistic sinus infection afterwards.
I know the protocol. I've done this before. But it sucks & I'm tired of being nauseated & clearing my throat all the time.

Feeling the sinus crap starting. Started the 3 day Zpack yesterday. Don't need that right now. Grrr. Will get more next week in Palomas. Glad I had some here. Another reason to love Palomas.

A3 #parkchat we got a Zpack tent that relied on hiking poles a few years back. First time using it we weren’t used to poles yet and we forgot the poles!! Here is a funny picture of that trip

Looks like we didn't freeze last night. Yay. My flowers will live a while longer. Basil too! Wrapped in cozy layers now.
One more day of zpack. Thankful I had those. I feel so much better. Better living through chemistry. Will restock Monday in Palomas. You are still invited for lunch with us.

Yup. Zpack is useless, tamiflu is not that helpful and not necessary for mild illness. But the flu shot that can reduce symptom severity and prevent severe illness in 40% of cases - what a WILD suggestion 🙄

So the procedure was weird but not really painful. I can feel some improvement. But doc also said his scan showed I have severe sinusitis. And get this - I think I actually don't feel bad. I am sadly used to it He gave me Zpack and steroids. So I am feeling loopy today from both.
