I don’t usually draw Quote with heavy lidded eyes, but many do, and I still feel the text fits him.

#cavestory #cave_story #zpiw #quomo
A meme. Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland) and Quote’s (Cave Story) busts are drawn to be compared. Momo’s on the left, is wearing a determined expression with a small pout. The text describes him as: upturned eyes “Calmer” + anxious & high on guard Quote is on the right, with a somewhat sleepy expression. His text says: “downturned eyes Always onto something. mischievous fella.”

A fan made scene that took place after Zombie Panic in Wonderland (ZPiW) shown as a scribble comic. Momotaro awkwardly rubs his arm as he utters, “U-Um, everyone i-“ He is interrupted with the sight of the a party themed around the words “We know”, with coordinating decor, shirts, and hats that have the colors of the asexual, panromantic, and demiboy flags. Snow White is blankly holding a cake that is topped with “We Know”, accompanied by one of her dwarves. An annoyed Alice is putting up a comedic drawing of Momotaro sloppily kissing Quote (Cave Story) that says “WE KNOW”. Dorothy looks on with a sad pout as her puppy Toto is staring blankly at the peach boy. A zombie head was even invited, and is also staring at Momo. The peach hero is stunned by the display.

Ok, so I heard fanfics do better with screenshots, so let’s try again!

It’s a story about the Zombie Panic in Wonderland characters, kinda! :D

Just one of the, many, consequences that occurred because a selfish prince wanted more love.

Have a lovely day!

Notes: There is a severe lack of characterization for the crew of this game, so everything isn't going to be fully canon compliant. This will be a thing going forward in all fics I make about these fricks. To sum up the cast for those who don't know ZPiW: Snow White: very resembles the disney one, but busty, aloof-ish with a temper, and not dainty and sweet Alice: Brown hair dressed in blue, with a blue bow and a belt of potions. Does not originate from wonderland, like neitner the whole fairytale land nor the part that resembles the one from ner story. Momotaro: Declared as male in canon, but is just some super strong peach humanoid in rags. Was the focus of the game's story. Talks more in canon, but I don't follow the vibes to a T. Dorothy: Young lass in pink gingham dress with her puppy Toto. Sweet, but might be a little too into destruction. Red: Seemingly mascot of game, but doesn't appear at all in story. Have fun —— The dust had settled. Dwarves were now getting scented with a new potion, scampering across the kingdom. The amorous zombie panic was getune reversed. Wonderland was going to be rebuilt It was going to be a happily ever after. But there was somethino amiss... The towering current prince of Wonderland was tailing his wife, "Darling, please, I promise, I’ll never forsake your love again! I-“ The wife, Snow White, was scowling, "Again, I am divorcing you, and that's FINAL." Prince Charming cried. "But darling-!!” Their conversation was in clear earshot of the few who assisted Snow in solving the amorous zombie situation the Prince caused. One of the heroes, Alice, was mixing up duplicates of the antidote on the spot, since she always carried potion brewing materials. She smirks at Momotaro, who had led her and Dorothy to the castle. "Well...she seems to be free for love now...are you going to take advantage of that?" The young Dorothy worriedly spattered, "Alice, don't give him ideas...!"

In honor of Chiikawa’s English dub being revealed, have more wawas. :D

#cavestory #cave_story #zpiw
As Chiikawa-esque creatures, Momotaro and Quote are engaged in a happy tight hug, to the point their cheeks are squished up against each other. The slightly teary Momotaro is a scruffy dark brown puppy like creature with his pink scarf and peach mark. Quote has a short tail, black fur, with his white face and tummy exposed. He still has his green scarf, headphone-like ears, and red cap.

My current vision on how the girls of that fairytale land gets along. Based on the few crumbs of canon, and my imagination.

…will try to provide context whenever.

#ZPiW
A relationship chart focused on the heroic characters of Zombie Panic in Wonderland. Momotaro feels worried about Dorothy. She wants him. Dorothy gets frustrated by Alice, who teases her (about Momotaro) Snow White trusts and mentors Dorothy, who does want to be like her (and has mimicked her) Little Red Riding Hood trusts and admires Snow, while Snow trusts her completely. Dorothy and Red are friendly towards each other. Alice and Momotaro get on each others’ nerves, but they can get along. Momotaro finds Red too intense to be around, while Red thinks he’s silly. Snow has faith in Momotaro in regard to being a good person. He finds that she’s pretty, but does not want her in any sense.

Greetings! I’m tired and sleepy. But my fave wiiware game that isn’t Cave Story and Zombie Panic in Wonderland (that I actually played) is Pokemon Rumble. Though it is nice to just let Pokemon Ranch run in the background. (…Didn’t download WarioWare DIY Showcase oops.) Thanks!
Strawpage ask: hili plush plush ^_^ how's life treating u!! uhmmm if u arent too busy to answer whats ur favourite Wiiware game bESIDES Cave Story and Zombie Panic (and WW Diy:SC possibly?)? ps: ur awesome *fistbump" The game is a scribble representation of My Pokemon Ranch, so all present characters are Miis. Quote (Cave Story) is looking over a Mudkip and a Piplup. But in the back, Kat and Ana (WarioWare) are roughhousing with Momotaro (ZPiW), as Mew watches over them.

Hey.

Please give me your niche ships in the comments. Rare pairs, oc x canon, crossover ships, and what not. I will do my best to draw lots of them like Quote (Cave Story) and Momotaro (ZPiW) here in a few days. Please forgive me if I struggle or miss.

Thank you!
Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland) is holding Quote (Cave Story) in his arms. Quote is holding onto him. They are blushing happily together.

Either way, thank you for the Momo, more Momos are always appreciated…!
Strawpage: Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland) is looking puzzled at a Big Stump, a tree stump-like creature, who is returning the same expression. The words “ZPiW x PVZ2 Rre soon…” are next to them.

There are three bubbles containing moments between Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland/ゾンビ イン ワンダーランド) and Quote (Cave Story/洞窟物語). Going clockwise from the upper left, Momo is swinging Quote around by the arms with a cheerful expression. Quote is a bit surprised. Then there’s Momotaro giving Quote a piggy back ride. They seem to be content. Under the two bubbles is a moment of the boys sleeping together, with Quote resting on Momotaro’s back. Under all the bubbles is a very confused Sue Sakamoto (as a mimiga). She is thinking of the fact that Quote probably weighs around 195 kg (or ~430 lbs).

More photos of characters as Miis in Tomodachi Life!

A group of characters run through a forest. Beat (Unbeatable) takes the lead, with Lea (CrossCode) happily following behind. Curly Brace (Cave Story) is running alongside Quote (Cave Story), who is worried about Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland) who had tripped. Cadence (Rift of the Necrodancer) is also about to trip and Madeline (Celeste) looks on with a blank expression. Cicada (WarioWare/Rhythm Heaven) looks over the scene in a fit of laughter. Various photos pinned to a cork board. From the upper left, a laughing Kat (WarioWare) is running from a panicked Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland). Next to that photo is Misery (Cave Story) leaning against the ledge, looking cool with arms crossed. After that is Beat (Unbeatable) and Cadence (Rift of the Necrodancer) jumping in joy. Below the photo is Ana (WarioWare) peaking in, very close to the camera. To the left of that photo, Merlin (Rift of the Necrodancer) and Heph (Rift of the Necrodancer) pose in front of a house. Kat (WarioWare) winking to the audience smugly as she hits a three point pose. She had trapped Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland) in a series of shurikens that pinned him to the wall. Various characters laying in a field of clovers. From the upper left going clockwise, Quote (Cave Story) and Momotaro (ZPiW) are together happily smiling and blushing. After that is Cadence (Rift of the Necrodancer) who is laughing as Nocturna (Rift of the Necrodancer) looks mildly annoyed. Madeline (Celeste) is lying down in bliss. Next are Lulu, Ana and Kat, who are relaxing. Ana has a butterfly on her forehead.

A rough sketch. Cadence (Rift/Crypt of the Necrodancer) and Quote (Cave Story) are giving a big hug to Momotaro (Zombie Panic in Wonderland), though it seemed like Cadence intruded on the robot soldier and peach runt. Momotaro seems a bit overwhelmed by the affection.

So basically this is just me joking that Momotaro, the focus of the comic (and ZPiW), is actually gay, which disappoints Dorothy, the girl in pink. It’s more likely he’s pan or bi due to his reaction to Snow, but the concept of Dorothy crying at losing the chance at romancing him was too funny.
A screenshot of a cutscene in Zombie Panic in Wonderland. Momotaro is flustered at the sight of Snow White, which annoys Dorothy. Promotional(?) official artwork that was found through forgotten means. Laying on the floor, Momotaro is reading a book, with Snow White observing, and Dorothy leaning in on the peach runt, smitten. Her puppy Toto is gnawing on a dismembered zombie hand.
