yes, i've been stuck on drawing my three hunter husbands for the past few days. i've been unable to get them out of my head, you see. x_x got zaroff n van pelt lined, jus gotta get van buren in there... i ,. am afraid of him. the first two were so fun. i amn worried van buren will hurt me

Inspired by a #metafilter fanfare post, I finally got around to seeing the original Most Dangerous Game #film. It's pretty good - weirdly paced by today's standards but short enough (62 minutes) to never be boring.

I wonder if the shooting was a last minute change which is why it’s a bit of a rubbish effect on screen. As scripted Zaroff was meant to hurl a spear and the cliffhanger was not on the classic line

One time when I was in 10th grade, my friends and I made a short film of The Most Dangerous Game, and when we watched it back, we realized my friend's portrayal of General Zaroff came off like an offensive gay stereotype, so we started over and didn't turn in that version.
