(hundred line) zen'ta and moko without the zomi
October 1, 2026 at 6:09 AM
(hundred line) i like zen'ta/nozomi/moko because in my head moko is 100% attracted to women, it just hasnt clicked for her yet, so when zen'ta copies her she immediately recognises those feelings for what they are and hits on nozomi, leaving moko Very Confused.

Zen'ta had spawned multiple Takumis, and they crowded around her while she was stunned, one attacking her with a side slash. I couldn't move her or use any potions on her in this state... Someone needed to come to her aid, and who was nearby and had these foes in range? Takumi.

Was Zen'ta killing Moko really that different from what we did to Eva? Is it fair for us to only sympathize with our enemies when they surrender when we're willing to kill and unwilling to surrender to them?

See, funny story. When I first saw this leaked sprite (this was before I saw it in-game), I thought this was a corrupted Eito and that at some point, you had to fight him like THAT.
Imagine my disappointment (lol, not that much) when it was just Zen'ta copying someone again.

my other favorite part of this is it means zen'ta will be dripped out especially, eva is going to be wearing 70's vintage/bohemian stuff, and im taking the creative liberty to give valla-garzo a babyface

In my battle with Zen'ta, I had Nozomi do a healing shower; she helped a ton of my units (including Takumi) but this moved her into the center of the map. By the time I realized what a dangerous position this was, it was already too late...
This was player dependent, but I had the craziest Takunozo moment in a battle... I will relay the events later.....

What does that mean about the others? Zen'ta killed Moko in his last timeline and probably would've killed them in this one if she had the opportunity, but why is that? Did she have people she loved too? Family she was trying to defend from us... Me?

Especially after he gains the ability to talk to Eva as a ghost and sees her village. Zen'ta had a face like Eva but he never saw it. He thought Eva was nothing more than an invader with no existence outside of destroying humanity, and she wasn't.

It's disgusting and I loved it but this unique framing decision doesn't feel like it goes anywhere after the desired goal is achieved. Zen'ta wasn't going to surrender like Eva did, but this would have been the perfect jumping off point for this to stick with Takumi,

No problem lol. One of three with apostrophes in their names, the old fashioned guy is Dahl'xia, and the shapeshifter is Zen'ta

So, with how he absorbs Zen'ta to be able to understand Eva, I think there was a massive missed opportunity to use that as another way to show this inner conflict and this extension of empathy he's finding impossible to ignore.

Great moment of introspection here, but I don't know the characters involved enough to tell if Zen'ta is saying this from Hiruko's perspective or from her own School Invader perspective.

"There was so much cryptoglobin pouring from Zen'ta… It was like a waterfall… Like surging waves breaking past a breached dam… It swirled like a muddled current that instantly sunk onto me. And then… I finished absorbing the cryptoglobin.”
