初代RyzenPCからの最終アップグレードを遂行！
CPU、GPUとアップグレードしたもののメインメモリがDDR4-2400のままでした。
そこで今回は台湾メーカーGIGASTONEのOCメモリを購入。
手動ではJedec規格の3200Mhzまでは動いたものの、その後はなかなかうまくいかず。
ところがASUSマザーのAIOverclockTunerを試したところすんなり動きました。
ちょっとメモリタイミング違うけど、無事3600MHzを認識！これにより帯域幅は1.5倍に！
モンハンベンチもフルHDウルトラで1500UP！

zen5 seems like it is going to be huge news for home compute, if the rumors are true it's a %35-40 leap on pure cpu work (based on cinebench) rather than a ~%20 increment like we saw between zen3 & zen4
as a loyal hog for amd cpus I'm excited for the announcement this year

got ok performance results when I tried running some LLMs on the CPU using .gguf format models
on a 5900x, a 6-bit quantization of mistral-7b answered a bit slower than gh copilot does
what I'm really curious to see is whether it can enable running much larger models slowly w/ 128GB of ram

Had the opportunity to jump to a 5800X3D and even for it being an older chip, dang! The difference in performance from the 5800X is noticeable in almost all games I play! I'm quite content with this last "upgrade" I'll make for my Zen3 rig. Too expensive to jump ship to a new rig right now imo! 🤷♂️🤓

Had the opportunity to jump to a 5800X3D and even for it being an older chip, dang! The difference in performance from the 5800X is noticeable in almost all games I play!
